IH funds youth workers for PHAB
The club offers children from 5-11 years the opportunity to do homework with the support of professional staff and volunteers.
Offers a safe, welcoming and supportive learning space for children from Ivybridge estate to do homework and during the holidays to do activities and meet other children.
This is particularly important because many children are living in overcrowded flats where space is limited. Also, many parents are not mother tongue speakers of English and feel that they can’t always help their children with their homework.
In terms of the Ivybridge Link vision it forms part of a holistic approach to services that meet the wide and changing needs of the Ivybridge community.
